Anything planted this year still needs a deep soak every week or so until the ground freezes — slow water at the base, not a sprinkler. It's the single biggest reason a new tree makes it or doesn't.

Cool air, warm soil, and fall rain mean a tree spends the whole winter putting down roots instead of holding leaves. If you've been putting off a shade tree, this is the season to do it. Come walk the tree rows and we'll help you load it.

Bring us your containers or buy them here. We plant them for the season and you pick them up ready to set out. Commercial accounts welcome. Call the yard to talk through colors and timing.

You don't need an appointment and you don't have to buy anything. Come look at mature sizes, take pictures, ask questions. We'd rather you see a tree in person than pick one off a screen.
Everything here is easier to talk about standing in front of the plant.
